SEO Strategy and Roadmap
SEO strategy and roadmap
This service is for the situation where it is unclear where to begin. Instead of a list of tasks for the sake of having tasks — a plan: what to do first, what comes next, and what to expect at each stage.
What is included
- an assessment of the current state: what already works, what gets in the way, which pages bring traffic;
- competitor analysis in the results — by structure and page types, not by "number of links";
- keywords grouped by intent and matched against existing pages;
- a gap list: which queries have no page at all;
- a prioritised three to six month plan, with the reasoning behind that order;
- the benchmarks by which to measure results.
The logic behind the priorities
The order is nearly always the same: first whatever blocks indexation, then speed, then content gaps, and only then fine tuning. The reasoning is simple — optimising pages that never reach the index is pointless, and improving markup on a slow site is wasted effort.
Being honest about timelines
SEO does not produce results in a month. Technical fixes can improve things within weeks, but traffic growth from new content is measured in quarters. If you need sales right now, it is more honest to put the money into advertising and run SEO alongside it.
What you receive
A document you can work from yourself or hand to a contractor. It does not tie you to me — it is a plan, not a subscription.
