A feed is a file listing your range in a format the marketplace or ad platform understands. Every platform has its own requirements, so a universal feed does not exist.

The OkayCMS specific that breaks feeds

The platform has two separate identifier spaces — one for the product and one for its variant. If the wrong identifier ends up in the feed, the platform receives contradictory data: listings get confused, statistics are attributed incorrectly, and in ad systems products can be grouped together by mistake.

This is not obvious from the documentation and usually surfaces after launch — when the statistics stop matching actual sales.

Why feeds get rejected

The most frequent causes: categories not mapped to the directory, prices in an undeclared currency, availability contradicting stock, images not reachable by direct link, duplicate identifiers, and generation so slow the crawler gives up waiting.
