OkayCMS configuration for your business

A freshly installed store works but is not yet ready to take orders. This service brings it to the state where you can start filling the catalogue and selling.

What is included

• base settings: currency, units, contact details, company information;
• catalogue structure for your range — categories, specifications, variants;
• delivery and payment methods with cost calculation;
• checkout: which fields are needed and which only scare buyers off;
• customer and administrator emails — verified to actually arrive;
• basic SEO: clean URLs, meta tag templates, sitemap;
• caching and baseline speed settings.

About catalogue structure

This is the most important part and the one most often skipped. Specifications and variants have to be thought through before the catalogue is filled: if colour is stored as free text across a thousand products, filters will not work and it all has to be redone by hand.

So configuration starts with a conversation about your range, not with working through checkboxes in the admin.

What is not included

Populating the catalogue and design work. For populating, an import from a price list is more practical; for appearance, theme development.
