id13dev Stock Alert — stock shortage and purchasing control

id13dev Stock Alert is a module for online store owners and purchasing managers: it helps restock on time and stop losing sales to out-of-stock products.

What it does

• Checks stock for regular products and for individual option combinations, such as sizes or colours.
• Analyses real sales over 30 and 90 days and the last sale date, and assigns a priority: critical, high, medium or low.
• Warns about a shortage before a product runs out, using lead time, average daily demand and the reorder point.
• Calculates the recommended purchase quantity including safety stock.
• Manager statuses (New, Ordered, Postponed, Ignore, Restocked), bulk actions, filters by category, manufacturer, priority and demand, and CSV export of the purchase list.
• Telegram and e-mail notifications as a single digest instead of dozens of separate messages; system cron or web-cron.

The module works only in the admin panel and changes neither the theme nor the OpenCart core. Its point is to tell the manager not just what has run out, but what to order, how much and what comes first.

How it works

1. Stock. The module tracks stock for products and option combinations: changes after orders go into a queue that cron or web-cron processes.
2. Demand. It analyses sales over 30 and 90 days and the last sale date, so you see what sells and what just sits there.
3. Calculation. Reorder point = average daily sales × lead time; suggested order = average daily sales × (lead time + safety stock).
4. Notifications. A single digest to Telegram or e-mail, and in the admin panel — a purchase list with statuses, filters and CSV export.

Compatibility

OpenCart 3.0.x / ocStore 3.0.x, PHP 7.4–8.3, MySQL 5.6+ / MariaDB 10.x. Tested on ocStore 3.0.3.7 (PHP 7.4) and ocStore 3.0.4.1 (PHP 8.3).
